During your time away, I will send you text and photo message updates, so you can see your fur-babies and how they are doing. I always have my cell phone with me, so I am always available.
During our meet and greet, we can go over the specifics of your dog or cat's care instructions. I do my very best to be the surrogate "Mom" or "Dad" while you are away by keeping their routine as normal as possible.
I am a guest in your home and I behave as such. My goal is to leave your home as clean, if not cleaner, than when I arrived. I don’t want you to know I was even there — although the numerous pictures I send will show otherwise!
I will do my absolute best to follow the care instructions you provide and that we go over during the initial meeting and greet.
For repeat clients, if it’s been awhile since I’ve cared for their furry family members, I’ll ask if there are any changes. If there’s a big change in the care instructions, I might schedule a follow up meet and greet. Sometimes it’s just easier to go over big changes, such as a new illness or new home, in person.
Another safety step I always take is to have your actual cell phone number and a back up contact available. This just ensures that should an emergency arises, I have a way to get in contact with you. It’s better to be over prepared for emergencies than under prepared!
